In the weekly Janata Darbar held at the Collectorate office, Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal personally listened to grievances from citizens and assured timely redressal of their concerns. The interactive session saw a large number of people turning up with applications related to various civic and administrative issues.
Issues raised by the public ranged from school admissions and MNREGA appointments to land disputes, electricity connections, pending payments, housing, shop allotments, and gun license approvals. Disputes regarding cooperative housing societies and domestic matters were also brought to the fore.
Mittal patiently heard each complaint and assured that necessary investigations would be undertaken before appropriate action is taken. He directed officials to ensure quick and transparent resolution of all pending cases. Several grievances were resolved immediately during the darbar, offering instant relief to the complainants.
For the rest, the Deputy Commissioner forwarded the applications to concerned departments with specific instructions for expeditious handling. He emphasized that accountability and prompt response to public issues remain a top priority for the administration.
The weekly Janata Darbar continues to serve as an important platform for citizen engagement and grievance redressal in the district.
