Pranshu Singh, a bright legal mind from Jamshedpur and an alumna of Rajendra Vidyalaya, has been honoured with the prestigious Thought Leadership Award by the globally renowned law and legal research firm, Mondaq. She received the first prize in the immigration category for her research-based article, which emerged as the most-read article worldwide between October 2024 and March 2025.

The award is given biannually—in Spring and Autumn—to legal professionals across the globe, recognizing insightful legal analysis and impactful writing. Pranshu received the Spring edition of the award, which covered submissions from 16 countries across 16 distinct legal categories.

Currently residing in New Delhi, Pranshu works at the reputed Hammurabi & Solomon law firm. Her article, which received the accolade, explores trade relations between India and Portugal, shedding light on both challenges and emerging opportunities from a fresh legal perspective.

A meritorious student since childhood, Pranshu completed her graduation from Christ College, Bengaluru, and later pursued law. She is the daughter of Jamshedpur-based trade union expert Praveen Singh. Expressing his pride, Singh said, “This award is highly prestigious in the legal community. I’m glad that Pranshu is carrying forward our legacy in the field of law.” He added that she has also worked under several prominent Supreme Court lawyers and has published in leading legal journals both nationally and internationally.

In a short span of time, Pranshu has made a significant mark in the legal field, demonstrating deep insight and commitment through her writing and practice.
