IGNOU needs 400 additional hands

Indira Gandhi National Open University is on the lookout for a suitable placement agency for filling the requirement of 400 new vacancies for unskilled labour. These vacancies are for the posts of Attendant/Packer/Helper/Mali. The posts are purely temporary and seasonal and the remuneration offered is Rs 246 per day. The minimum qualifications for the posts are 8th pass (desired, 10th pass).
To meet the requirements, IGNOU is inviting sealed quotations in two bids - technical and financial, from agencies/companies registered for the purpose. They should be having an annual turnover of no less than rupees one crore for the last three years indicating service charges for providing unskilled manpower.
The agency is also expected to provide an undertaking that they will not charge any fee from the persons sponsored for the posts. The agency may, however, charge a one-time administrative expenses not exceeding Rs 300.
