Additional Sessions Judge Sanjiv Jain awarded 12 years rigorous imprisonment to Yasin alias Pehalwan of Delhi besides imposing a fine of Rs 2.5 lakh on him for trafficking commercial quantity of the banned drug. |

Custody of blasts accused extended |
| A city court on Saturday extended by 28 days the judicial remand of five suspected Indian Mujahideen terrorists accused of carrying out the serial blasts here on September 13 last year. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kaveri Baweja sent accused Zeeshan Ahmed, Mohd Shakeel, Mohd Hakim, Saquib Nissar and Zia-Ur Rehman to further judicial remand till June 27. It also issued fresh production warrants against accused Mohd Saif, Mohd Sadiq Sheikh, Quamuddin Kapadia, Mansoor Asghar Peerbhoy, Mobin Kader Sheikh and Asif Bashir Sheikh for June 27. Saif, Sadiq and Quamuddin are in the custody of Gujarat police while Peerbhoy, Mobin and Asif are in Maharashtra for their alleged involvement in other cases. |

| Results of All India Engineering Entrance Examination were announced by Central Board of Secondary Education on Saturday. About 10 lakh students had appeared in the test conducted at around 1460 centres across the country. Nitin Jain from FIITJEE has topped the exam. It’s a double jackpot for him in 2009 as on 25th May he became All India Topper in IITJEE also. He is a resident of Faridabad and a student of Modern Vidya Niketan. |

2 firemen killed in IGI drill |
