Ashoka University, a pioneer in providing liberal education, invites application for full-time and part-time PhD Programmes in Biology, Computer Science, Economics, and English.
The aim at Ashoka is to help students become well-rounded individuals who can think critically about issues from multiple perspectives, communicate effectively and become leaders with a commitment to public service.
Eligibility: Students with an MSc/ MA/ MCom/ MPhil/ BTech/ MTech with 55 per cent and above are eligible for the course. Students with CSIR Scholarship/ UGC NET- JRF are also allowed to apply. Students admitted must have good understanding of their proposed area of research. They must exhibit high level of commitment to pursue research.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be required to appear in early August for a written test and an interview at the Ashoka University campus in Sonepat. Those selected for admission will be automatically considered for Teaching Assistantships and Research Assistantships.
