Management Development Institute (MDI), has appointed Prof Mukul P Gupta as the Director of the institute.

Prof Gupta who took charge as Director MDI, Gurgaon on January 17 will also be Director of MDI, Murshidabad Campus. Prof Gupta took the reins from Prof CP Shrimali, who was officiating as Director of MDI, Gurgaon and MDI, Murshidabad.

Prof Gupta has been with MDI since 2000 as a Professor of Marketing and has held various administrative positions. It was under his leadership that MDI became the largest provider for Executive Education amongst all business schools in India and the best globally networked Business School in India. He was also the Director, at the Wits Business School (WBS), Johannesburg during 2005-06.
