Man On A ledge

Man On A Ledge lives up to its title and the entire movie is only about the ledge and the man on it. They could have called it man on the edge but that would have been way off the mark considering that Worthington looks rather comfy on the 25-story ledge where he perches himself after running away from prison.

“I will leave this world exactly as I entered it — INNOCENT.” This suicide note by a desperate Sam pretty much sets the pace of this film which scores despite being stuck on one constricting locale — the narrow ledge.

Done in by a tycoon and his craftiness, this ex-cop is sentenced for 25 years in prison for a diamond heist he did not commit. So he runs and parks himself on the ledge of the building which houses the tycoon’s office and his safe deposit box. The rest, of course, a save him campaign by his family and a heady woman detective thrown in for some colour. Mildly interesting.
