Why Hollywood is allowed to dump its Hollywood kitsch so blatantly on countries like ours is yet an unanswered query. But what such senseless movies bring in for the coffers is baffling. Chronicle is one of the many such movies which has come and will go away to empty halls. Centred around three college boys who acquire some special powers one night, it loses the script just after the introduction of this theme.

There are no questions answered on all the crazy happenings in the movie which are mostly repetitive too. A boy with a bully father problem tears the world apart without much of a premise.

Even the blood and the gore mostly looks too fantastic to be grounded in any kind of logic.

But what the heck, when all the leads are flying around — even all the way to Tibet — with no radar sightings, you would be mad to look for reason here.
