On a week that has four listless movies on the release list, Journey 2 comes across as the one to be with.

Settle in with your combo and kids, for this is one adventure which grows on you pretty fast — just like the virtually mystic locale of an abandoned island in South Pacific Ocean.

This is an island, three known authors have written about but no one has ever been able to spot. In comes a disturbed young adventure scientist who is having problems galore with his step-father and is rearing to go on an adventure.

The coded invite comes from none other than his grandfather who draws him out of a crowded bedroom to go across oceans but only with his Rock solid step-father in tow. The island itself, slated to go under water in three days time, is shielded by a constant hurricane no one has ever pierced. The story gets more adventurous, enchanting and romantic, not to mention humorous, on the island drawing you into the roller-coaster with a huge amount of father-son-grandfather bonding.
