Whether the jinx of Friday the 13th led to cancellation of Congress star campaigner Priyanka Gandhi’s three-day programme in Amethi and Rae Bareily or not, but her brother Rahul Gandhi—who seems to have taken up the entire responsibility— is all set to start his fifth five-day mass Jansampark show from Tuesday.

Congress leaders were now planning Priyanka’s programme from Monday but the Gandhi scion had yet to give his assent. Sources in the Congress confirmed that Rahul would arrive in Lalitpur on Tuesday morning and will hold series of public meetings in Garautha, Chirgaon, Babina and Mauranipur before holding the last rally in Jhansi.

Later, travelling through Bundelkhand region, Rahul will also cover Vindhyachal with his last massive rally was proposed in Duddhi at Son Bhadra. Sources further said that to closely monitor that Congress ‘loyalist’ should not make much damage to the party and if possible to cool down their anger by assuring them of giving them some important assignments after the election, Congress general secretary, Digvijay Singh would also arrive in Lucknow  on coming Tuesday.

According to sources, Digvijay will remain here in the State till the polling will be over so that he could set the `House’ in order and convince the dissidents to work together and accomplice ‘Mission 2012’.
