| | Gandhinagar

After Modi Government came to power in May 2014, situation in terror infected Jammu & Kashmir has improved, claimed Union Finance Minister and election in-charge of BJP in Gujarat, Arun Jaitley on Sunday.

According to the Minister, for the first time in the long past, the security forces are having upper hand against the terrorists. Jaitley claimed that terrorist outfits were short of funds post demonetisation which they used to distribute among stone-pelters. He further said that in the past three and half years, those who became commander of terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba didn’t last for long time.

Jaitley said that now stone pelters are not visible anywhere in the valley and the Hurriyat leaders too have exposed only because of political will of present government at centre, he said, adding that the intelligence system has again been restored across the villages and for the first time the security forces were dominating the terrorists there.

“After BJP-led NDA Government came into power, nation’s strength and pride have augmented. Those who supported infamous terror attack on Mumbai alienated in the world,” said Jaitley while addressing a meeting at Surat.

Attacking on opposition Congress party for resorting on anarchy he said that the attempt of Congress party wouldn’t be good for the people of Gujarat. On the contrary the ruling BJP which is in power for over two decades banking solely upon development agenda, he said.
