PM Modi will visit Ramallah soon, says Palestine’s Ambassador to India

Palestine's ambassador to India, Adnan Mohammad Jaber Abualhayjaa, on Thursday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Ramallah, the administrative capital of Palestine.

The envoy, however, did not give further details or indicate the timing of Modi's visit. "I will announce here and no one before you knows that Modi will visit Palestine," the ambassador told Rajya Sabha TV.

He added India has been supportive of the Palestinian cause and the two-state solution. Modi is expected to travel to UAE, Egypt and Jordan next year and the visit to Palestine is likely to be clubbed with these.
