Yogi welcomes NDA’s decision to pitch Naidu as V-P candidate

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated Union Urban Development Minister M Vankaiah Naidu for being made candidate by National Democratic Alliance for the post of Vice-President of India.

“This decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah is a matter of pride for farmers and working class,” Yogi said in a written statement issued in Lucknow on Monday.

The CM said that Naidu has a long public life and has fulfilled all responsibilities given to him in the Government as well as in the party. "He is popular among people all across India and has proved his mettle as a Union minister. His love for Hindi is well known for which he has won hearts in north India," Yogi said.
