BENGAL WARRIORS EDGE PAST TELUGU TITANS 32-31

sonepat: Bengal Warriors scripted an impressive comeback to beat Bengal Warriors 32-31 in a Pro Kabaddi League match here on Tuesday. Jang Kun Lee scored in the dying seconds to win the match for Bengal Warriors and ended with nine points. Maninder Singh also chipped in with seven points for Bengal Warriors. Telugu Titans would look at this match as a missed opportunity as they scored just one point in the last seven minutes. Bengal Warriors scored five straight points in the next four minutes to trail 25-30 in the 36th minute. Bengal Warriors were awarded a technical point in the 37th minute to cut the lead to just three points. Bengal Warriors scripted a memorable comeback as Jang Kun Lee scored in the dying seconds to win the match 32-31.

TNCA PRESIDENT'S XI MEETS HYDERABAD IN FINAL

chennai: TNCA President's XI defeated TNCA Districts XI by four wickets to set up a final with Hyderabad in Kalpathi AGS — Buchi Babu All-India Invitation cricket tournament here on Tuesday. Hyderabad outplayed Uttar Pradesh by 139 runs in the second semifinal played at MRF-Pachaiyappa's College grounds thanks to a disciplined bowling performance. In the match between the two host outfits, captain Baba Aparajith led from the front with a knock of 90 which included eight boundaries and one sixer as President's XI reached the target of 271 in 85.4 overs. Left-handed batsman Pradosh Ranjan Paul took the team home with an unbeaten knock of 66 studded with nine fours and one six.

INDIAN HOCKEY EVES PLAY OUT 2-2 AGAINST BELGIUM

antwerp: The Indian women's hockey team held on to a 2-2 draw against the Belgium junior men's team in a closely fought match here. Belgium took the lead in second quarter. The third quarter started on a bright note for India as Nikki Pradhan levelled the score in 36th minute. India dominated the third quarter. However, the home team took the lead again in the 43rd minute as they rallied for a wonderful field goal scored by Matthieu de Laet. The Indian team fought back into the match in the dying stages as Vandana Katariya scored with just few minutes left to full time and equalise the scores at 2-2.

GREATER NOIDA TECH BEAT GALGOTIAS IN RFYS

greater noida: Greater Noida Institute Of Technology overcame Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology 3-2 in a penalty shootout in the Reliance Youth Foundation Sports football tournament here at the Netaji Subhash Sports Complex in Jasola on Tuesday. In a keenly fought College Boys' encounter, the two teams were locked 1-1 at full time. In the ensuing penalty shootout, Galgotias College missed their last penalty while the Greater Noida team tapped in their shot to complete their victory.

KOLKATA TEAM LEAD HCL BRIDGE C'SHIP GOLD EVENT
