BHEL holds event to hone young Trade Union leaders’ skills
A 10-days programme on Effective Communication and Skill Development for young Trade Union representatives began here on Monday at Human Resource Development Centre BHEL, Bhopal.
Industrial Relations wing of Human Resource Management Division and Human Resource Development Centre are jointly organising the programme. On this occasion Amitabh Dubey, AGM (HRDC); Binoy Kumar, AGM (HRM); AA Siddiqui, DGM (HR-IR & Law) and other senior officials were present. During the programme trainers from Dattopant Thengadi National Board for Workers Education and Development will impart training on various aspects of communication. Around 40 Trade Union representatives participated in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion Dubey and Kumar said that the development of the society and the organisation is possible only through the development of the workers.
Earlier, on Sunday, a Teacher Training Programme was conducted at BHEL Cultural Hall for teachers of BHE Siksha Mandal Schools. The Training Program was conducted by the faculties from Heartfulness Institute Chennai. Halder President BHE Siksha Mandal inaugurated the Program. 260 Teachers of Siksha Mandal including teachers of Kasturba Nursing College participated in this Training Program. DD Pathak GM (Fab & Fin) and Pravakar Das AGM(FBM) were also present on the occasion.
In his inaugural speech, Halder spoke about the importance of Training of Teachers and expressed gratitude to the faculties who had come from Heartfulness Institute Chennai. Halder appreciated the efforts of the trainers of Heartfulness Institute for educating the students and teachers on meditation and relaxation.
