CM extends greeting on Makar Sanskranti

Bhopal:Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has extended greetings to the people of the state on Makar Sankranti. He said that the festival of Snan, Daan and Surya Upasana is a symbol of enthusiasm, joy and fervor. Wishing people joy and prosperity on the festival he said the Government is taking all possible steps to ensure health, happiness and prosperity of all citizens and every family.

 daylong Hemophilia sensitiSation workshop held

Bhopal:Hemophilia federation India and Hemophilia society, Bhopal in Association with Department of Pathology, Gandhi Medical College Bhopal is organising a daylong Hemophilia sensitiSation workshop on Sunday here at Hotel RK Regency.

 Doctors from Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh of various related streams of medical science such as Pathology, Pediatrics, General medicine and orthopedics would attend the workshop.

 The workshop is aimed at improving Hemophilia care facilities in both the states and providing all the required information for the betterment of resources and skills needed to combat the life threatening disease.

 The workshop will begin with the presentation on the journey of Hemophilia society in Madhya Pradesh by Professor Dr RK Nigam of Department of Pathology, GMC Bhopal afterwards there will be an elucidated seminar on Diagnosis of Hemophilia and inhibitor by Dr Shashikant Apte from Pune followed by a session on Management of Joint/ muscle/ nervous system bleeding by Dr Chandrakala  from Mumbai and other lucrative sessions by renowned hematologist Dr Pravas Chandra  Mishra who is a consultant Hematologist, Max Hospital, New Delhi.

 Padma Binwani’s eyes donated to Sewa Sadan

Bhopal:Eyes of 68 year old late Padma Binwani have been donated to Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital by her Son Prakash Binwani. Late Padma was a resident of Rachna Nagar Bhopal, and passed away on Thursday. With this donation two blind persons would now get the eye-sight. For the sake of two visually impaired persons, son of the deceased took this decision. As many as 1,516 free cornea transplantations have so far been performed in Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital. Trustee LC Janiyani paid homage to the departed soul and expressed gratitude to the family members for this donation.

 Campion school students give their best

Bhopal :Dhruv Narayan Singh Rana and Udbhav Mittal of Campion school gave their excellent performance in MP State Karate Championship 2018 and bagged one silver and one bronze medal and awarded with Certificate of Merit along with Trophy respectively. This Championship was organised by Madhya Pradesh Karate Association, Recognized by MP Government and MP Olympic Association; Member of Karate Association of India.This four-day competition held from January 5 to 8 was hosted by Khel Karate Association, Ujjain and held recently at Ujjan, (MP).

Sagar School starts Art and Craft spectrum

Bhopal:Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar Campus- CBSE affiliated school of Bhopal commenced its Art and Craft Spectrum with great enthusiasm and jubilation. The exhibition focused on ingraining an imaginative attitude amongst young Sagarites to make them comprehend on being creative.The exhibit began by seeking blessings of ‘Maa Saraswati’ followed by lightening of ceremonial lamp and welcoming of guests by Principal Pankaj Sharma, students and parents.

The exhibit comprised of participation from Juniors (Class Nursery – VIII) in which over 2000 students showcased approx 2500 models with their talent, innovation and creativity.
