Advani, Gadkari in town to attend Joshi felicitation

Bharatiya Janata Party President Nitin Gadkari and former Deputy Prime Minister and senior party leader Lal Krishna Advani would reach the State capital on Wednesday to participate in the Kailash Joshi felicitation programme.

The programme would start with recitation of Sunderkand.

Gadkari would reach Bhopal from Nagpur by a special plane at 11.45 am. He would land at Raja Bhoj Airport and then reach Ravindra Bhawan to attend the programme. After attending the programme, he is set to go to Nagpur at 3.30 pm.

Advani would reach here at 11.15 am by a special plane from New Delhi and, after participating in the felicitation, would fly back at 3.30 pm.

The sunderkand recitation would start at 8.30 am on Wednesday and would be followed by cultural programmes. After the cultural programmes, the lamp would be lit and a floral welcome presented to the visiting dignitaries.

After the welcome, senior party leaders including former Chief Minister Sunderlal Patwa, State president and MP Prabhat Jha and national general secretaries Anant Kumar, Narendra Singh Tomar and Thanwarchand Gehlot would address the gathering. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan would also address the gathering on the occasion.

This would be followed by the launching of the felicitation granth and speech of Joshi. After Joshi’s speech the gathering would be addressed by Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj, Gadkari and Advani. In the end, Joshi would be felicitated.
