Campion school celebrates Hindi Diwas with fervour

A post event marking the Hindi Diwas was organised at Campion School here on Wednesday. To mark the event, a special morning assembly was conducted by the Hindi Department of the school.

The students and the faculty members enthusiastically participated in the event. Notably, Hindi Diwas is celebrated on September 14 every year to inculcate love for the Hindi Language and get knowledge on importance of the language.

The programme was organised in enthusiastic manner which witnessed tremendous participation of students. On the occasion various programmes including poetry session, importance of Hindi Language, skit based on Hindi idioms and phrases were staged by the students in mesmerising manner.

Students of middle and high school presented their creative skills by paintings, posters, slogans based on Hindi Diwas. Further, the assembly was started with a speech which highlighted the importance of Hindi in the country. The children depicted the Indian culture on stage that left an impact over the audience.

Chief guests of the occasion were Fr Principal and vice-principal addressed the students with their valuable words. Management committee member senior teacher and lecturer Mahendra Kothari was also present with all the school teachers and staff to mark the occasion.

Various cultural programmes were also presented on the occasion. The students recited their poems and spoke on the importance of the language in the contemporary society.

Programme was concluded by the motivating words of the chief guest. He highlighted the importance of Language Hindi, its existence and asked to disseminate its significance, respect and value.
