Ratan Colony house burgled

Burglars struck at a house in Ratan Colony under Nishatpura police station area on Tuesday and decamped with valuables worth Rs 1 lakh.

According to the police, the victim, Arvind Meena had gone to meet his relative on September 11 and when he returned on Tuesday he found that the valuables were burgled.

A complaint was lodged by the victim with the Nishatpura police and in his complaint he stated that he along with his family he had gone to meet his relative and when he returned on Sunday the doors of the house was found broken and when he entered the valuables were found burgled. A gold chain, one pair gold bangles and on pair gold ear rings were found burgled. The total loss in the burglary was around Rs 1 lakh .The victim was not able to provide details of the cash burgled.

Gold jewellery was targeted by the miscreants that raised suspicion that the miscreants were aware of the gold jewelry at the house, said police. The police have registered a case under Section 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.

Meanwhile, valuables worth Rs 70,000 were burgled from Sarvadharam Colony under Kolar police station area on Tuesday. According to the police the victim Anil Francis along with his family had gone to attend a family function and when he returned the gold and silver jewelry was found burgled. A gold chain and silver jewelry worth Rs 70,000 were burgled.

The neighbors have expressed ignorance over the burglary. Based on the complaint police have registered a case and started further investigation.
