Three held in Data Colony murder case

Koh-e-Fiza police have arrested three persons for killing a 22-year-old youth on March 1 at Data Colony; youth was attacked with wooden sticks which caused his death.

Police said that late in the night on March 1 the decease identified as Dilip was attacked by three of his friends with wooden sticks and beaten him to death. 

SHO Koh-e-Fiza police Anil Bajpai said that the three accused were confident that the police have accepted the theory of accident of the deceased and due to which they never left the city which help in their arrest easily.

The four used to fight after having liquor and which proved fatal for the deceased on the eve of Holi.

On the eve of Holi on March 1, the deceased along with the accused had liquor late in the night Dilip had a fight with Rahul Raghuvanshi and later along with his brother Ravi and Munna Vishwakarma they attacked Dilip who was attacked in his head.

The three took Dilip to Hamidia hospital where they told that he met with an accident and later he was declared dead. Initially, police registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and sent the body for the post mortem and later after the post mortem report was received it was found that head injuries lead to the death of the deceased. Thereafter, the three were detained and when quizzed they accepted to have killed Dilip.

A case of murder was registered against the three accused Rahul, Ravi and Munna and the court sent them under judicial custody.
