The Odisha State Bureau of Textbook Preparation and Production has published a unitary textbook for the subject of Biology.

The Minister informed that only about 50 students belonging to two colleges in the State capital had opposed the unitary pattern for Botany and Zoology and no other student in any part of the State protested it.

However, he informed that the number multiple choice questions (MCQs) would be reduced and limited words would be set for long questions considering student’s interest. Accordingly, the question papwers are being prepared he said.

The students would get 15 minutes more time for the 70-mark Biology Subject over and above normal three hours examination period, the Minister said.
