S’garh youth held for killing brother

A 32- year- old youth was arrested by the Sundargarh police on Sunday evening allegedly for killing his elder brother on Friday night. Another four accused in the murder case are absconding and police have launched manhunt for them. The Hemgiri police on Saturday recovered a body in naked condition  lying on a bridge with injury marks which was identified to be of Suresh Khadia (34), a resident of Khuntijhuria village. The police seized a rope from the spot. A black mark was spotted on the neck of the deceased person. Police suspected he was killed after his neck was pressed with a rope.

On Sunday evening, the police arrested Suresh’s younger brother Sulkhan Khadia. Sulkhan  told before police that on Friday night, he along with his four associates had reached the house of Suresh in a Bolero. He had called Suresh and Suresh had gone with them in that vehicle. They had taken him to a nearby forest and killed Suresh by pressing his throat with a rope and had dragged his body towards the bridge.
