Lt Gen BS Negi completes two-day visit to Uttarakhand
The Army commander Central Command Lieutenant General BS Negi completed a two-day visit of forward areas of Uttarakhand on Thursday. He was received by the Formation Commanders at their respective locations where they gave a brief on the operational and administrative preparedness of the forces under their command.
Lieutenant General Negi expressed satisfaction with the efforts being made by the formations in their areas of responsibility to meet all contemporary and emerging challenges.
The Army commander during his visit also interacted with the troops deployed in the remote areas under extremely harsh and difficult conditions and commended their selfless service to the Nation. He exhorted the troops to be vigilant and alert at all times to thwart any threat to the nation.
