Vodafone India rolls out 4G service in Kedarnath

Vodafone India announces 4G services in Kedarnath to provide world-class connectivity solution to the pilgrims visiting the fabled shrine every year. The 4G site has been successfully installed in the vicinity of the temple at the height of about (11,755ft), enabling  the customers to experience connectivity in speed, the officers of the company said.

Vodafone is among the first telecom service providers to launch 4G at Kedarnath. This will also help local authorities to supervise and manage the yatra trek route in case of an emergency situation and also to give the option to the visitors to share their spiritual experiences with their near and dear ones.

Speaking about the roll-out,  Dilip Kumar Ganta, business head, Uttar Pradesh West, said, “We are extremely proud to announce that Kedarnath is connected with 4G Network. We are fully equipped to provide reliable and 24*7 connectivity to millions of pilgrims visiting Kedarnath.”
