Over 130 officers of the IPS and PPS cadre along with thousands of new police recruits are set to get a massive relief with Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav expected to withdraw charges of irregularities in police recruitment during the last Samajwadi Party regime. The state government will also withdraw Departmental Enquiry in the matter.
