In view of turn out of the public in joint election meetings of RLD-Congress combine, Rashtriya Lok Dal on Monday claimed of Samajwadi party, BSP and BJP being wiped out from western region in this assembly polls.

Stressing at clear poll wave in favour of RLD-Congress combine, RLD state spokes person, Anil Dubey said, the election meeting of Ajit Singh and Congress chairperson, Sonia Gandhi at Numaish grounds in Aligarh on Sunday saw an unexpected turnout of voters which was indicative of major change in political equations of the region.

The grounds have not been filled to its capacity since several previous elections but it was seen overflowing with crowds on Sunday as people reached there from remote areas of other districts to listen to Ajit Singh and Sonia Gandhi, he said.

Dubey, pointing at the road shows being taken by the RLD national general secretary and Mathura MP, Jayant Chaudhary, said, the road shows and election meetings being addressed by the young leader were witnessing huge participation of the youth who were vocal in their support for the alliance. This was another pointer of the support the alliance was drawing from first time voters who has been instrumental in raising poll percentage in earlier four phases of elections.

As the pollsters are expecting even higher polling in coming phases of elections, if the polling percentage remains even similar like in earlier phases the BSP, SP and BJP are going to be wiped out from the western UP this time, he claimed.

Accompanied by senior Congress leaders the RLD chief Ajit Singh will be addressing election meetings in Dhaulana, Kithaur, Modinagar and Muradnagar on Tuesday while his son Jayant along with the Congers general secretary Rahul Gandhi will be campaigning in Siwalkhas and Bulandshahar assembly segments, he said.
