Forest Dept cracks whip against encroachers

The North Division of Forest Department, Garhwa has taken action against those who have encroached the forest land. After removing four houses 30 acres of forest land were freed from encroachment in Juti village under  Garhwa police station recently.

Action to remove encroachment was done in presence of Magistrate Jago Mahto in coordination with a police team led by SDPO Samir Tirkey. DFO Ashok Dubey was also present there. Giving details in the connection, DFO Ashok Dubey said that villager Nanu Ram and hundreds of others villagers of Kalyanpur village under Sadar Police Station had complained to DFO, Garhwa mentioning removal of the encroachment from the forest land in Juti village under Garhwa block area. Villagers had also sent a copy of the complaint to the Prime Minister of India, Governor of Jharkhand, CM of Jharkhand, Chief Secretary of Jharkhand and others authorities of Jharkhand.
