More about sexual partner than friend!
Our club does not provide friends but sexual service to the clients. The girls are recruited to provide sexual enjoyment to clients. For two to three hour service, they are paid Rs 5, 000 to Rs 6, 000,”The Pioneer got this reply from one Rahul Singh when he was enquired about services that Rupali Friendship Club provides. In the name of friendship, several advertisements were published in classifieds of prominent newspapers.
The answer also makes it clear that the brazen business is continuing openly and luring the willing customers as well as trapping needy girls for immoral and illegal practices leaving everyone sleeping
Representatives of the so-called friendship clubs offer to the callers to enter into the 'red zone' and make some easy money besides enjoyment. There is no difference whatsoever between the old fashioned dalals (pimps) who purchase and sell girls in dire need or high class call girls wanting to rake in moolah in shortest possible time.
The open ads, mind you reaching every household everyday through popular dailies, many a times can be misleading for the youngsters, especially when wrapped with a sweetener like 'friendship'. Besides this, the clubs are also in the practice of cheating the callers who are offered to get registered with them and avail both pleasure and cash at the same time.
“Hello! It is Love Roshni Friendship Club. We will make you friends with high profile college girls or housewives. They will pay you Rs 10,000 for sexual enjoyment that you need to provide them. But first you will have to get yourself registered with us,”replied the call attendant when the reporter called as undercover.
Ajit Singh of Love Roshni Friendship Club also guides how to become a registered member. “Go to a SBI branch. We will give you the account number in the name of M/D Aditya Singh. The account number is 20131589359 at SBI at Patna. You have to deposit Rs 1,500 into it and confirm it to me.”
The clubs claim to have generated a registration id after the payment is made and a contact number of girls/housewives in the need of the service. “You will be able to contact the lady through the contact number. She will give you services at her home or the place of your choice even in nights. They are high profile girls/housewives dissatisfied with their partner. They will pay anything between Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000 for giving them sexual enjoyment,”the representative assures the caller.
They also claim that their firms are registered with Government and also that the services can be availed throughout the country. The lusty offers are sufficient to be a honey trap. “I wasted around Rs 6,000 before I was given a mobile number. The girl kept on tricking me by asking to come here and there. But she never met me. Finally I had to forget my money and also the fantasy of a female friend,”said one of the victims of such friendship clubs.
Kind of social stigma attached with the act prevents the cheated ones to approach the police. And this is also the excuse they offer. “We have not received any complaints of cheating till date. So we have not taken any action. As far as taking suo moto action is concerned we can't take it up because we are already under-staffed. There are so much of visible crimes to take care of (than this one),”said Manoj Ratan Chouthe, Ranchi City SP.
Nevertheless the modus operandi of the friendship clubs also takes cue from their older version. These clubbers claim to have managed the police. “I have six years of experience. No policemen will touch you. If the police or anybody catches you show the identity card. The police are managed,”assures Ajit Singh with a confidence.
