KJo, Ekta hit back at Kangana

KJo, Ekta hit back at Kangana

Actress Kangana Ranaut’s satire with All India Bakchod (AIB) has predictably ruffled feathers in the industry.

Filmmaker Karan Johar,  who has been the target of the viral video for fanning nepotism, tweeted, “Dear talent... I wish you would stay away from overconfidence and delusion... they are constantly conspiring against you... don’t you see it?”

Meanwhile, producer Ekta Kapoor also joined ranks, hinting that Kangana wasn’t the only one asking the right questions. Her character in her online series Test Case had already mouthed the dialogues in the video. Tweeted she, “We spoke about ‘balls’ being the weakest part and lines like ‘why do slangs not say I have a vagina’ in the Test Case.”

AIB’s Bollywood Diva commented on Karan Johar, Shahrukh Khan and Hritik Roshan, with whom she has been having a word battle since the past month. Shah Rukh Khan who is widely known for putting his name before the actress’s in the credits of his films was indirectly mentioned when the hero in the song says, “Put your name before the hero’s” followed by Kangana hitting back, “Still your paycheck has more zeroes.”

The song would sound incomplete without a jibe at Hrithik and KJo. “Papa ne tujhko launch kiya ve, Main boli toh tune taunt kiya ve, tu karti victim play.”
