Dr Jagriti Luthra Prasanna is the latest signature in the realm of sufiyana singing. She is young in age but imbued with highly matured musical sensibilities. Coming from non-musical Punjabi family, Luthra has achieved milestones in music. She won first prize as a best classical singer in Classical performance at Navodit Kalakar Samiti.

Luthra was awarded for Best Classical Singer for the play Kalidasa’s Abhigyan Shakuntlam, presented by National School of Drama, Delhi. She was also awarded as Best Classical Vocalist by Pioneer Hobby Centre managed by Yashika Education Society and presented by Punjab Kesari. She has also given exclusive performances in her own Sufi jugalbandi group as Roohani Sisters not only in India as well as in abroad. She is also a aadio and Doordarshan artist and has also rendered her voice there. She is vocalist and promoter of Sufi music and did Doctorate from DU on Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
