Indian Army chief meets Nepalese counterpart

Indian Army chief General Bipin Rawat on Tuesday met his Nepalese counterpart Gen Rajendra Chhetri at the Army headquarters here and discussed issues of bilateral and mutual interests.

Gen Rawat, who is on a three-day visit to the Himalayan nation, also attended Nepal Army Day celebrations here.

The two Generals discussed the issues of bilateral and mutual interests, according to Nepalese Army headquarters. Earlier, Gen Rawat prayed at the Bindhyabasini temple in Pokhara and attended the Mahashivratri.
