The annual Akhil Dibas will be celebrated at the Pantha Niwas here on December 18 in memory of eminent short story writer Akhil Mohan Pattnaik. On the occasion, eminent short story writer Satyapriya Mahalik will be conferred with the Akhil Katha Samman.
Eminent litterateur Debraj lenka will grace the occasion as the chief guest and deliver the Akhil Mohan Memorial lecture. Among others, Malabika Ray, Mamata Dash, Dr Adikanda Sahoo, lenin Kumar and Dipsha Rath will participate in the discourse ‘Samparka, Sakshya O’ Prema.’ The Gyanada Kabita Samman instituted in memory of Gyanada Patnaik will be awarded to eminent poet Basudeb Sunani, according to Timir Baran Pattnaik of the Akhil Mohan Foundation.
