High five

Pratibha Agarwal and Priti Bajaj’s exhibition Elements of life brings together the five elements

Our cosmic quest of the world starts from the point of the five elements: earth, water, fire, air and ether, which then manifests in the form of creative life force,” Pratibha Agarwal gave an apt description of her recent curation Elements of life — a month-long art show by 21 artists. Dr Anil Kumar Sharma, CMD of Amrapali Group, inaugurated the exhibition at the Art life Gallery, Noida. The show also marked showcasing of a new art quarterly, Art Soul life, dedicated to promoting upcoming talent and art enthusiasts.

Agarwal said that the exhibition focuses on the underlying relations between art and the five elements. “Each of the five elements has its own specific character, adding that though this context is the scope of mythology and philosophy, yet these are subjects enough to fire the imagination of the artist. Elements of life, comprises the meaning of giving birth to an artistic form and then completing the circle by going back to the beginning,” she added.
