Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday called on the people to help out orphans as only through joint efforts, they can be ensured proper brought-up.
RsRsTo ensure all necessary help to the orphans is responsibility of the my government but unless public would also come out and join hands with us in our efforts than the desired goal of proper brought-up all such child can be achieved”, asserted Akhilesh Yadav here on Saturday morning. He was addressing a gathering during launch of a book RsRsWeakest on earth-orphanage of India”, here at his residence.
Yadav said that it is a matter of sorrow that the time when child needs parents for proper care and morale support some children became orphans. He said that than it becomes the responsibility of both the government as well as every citizen to forward all necessary help to such children so that that they never took them as Rsorphans’. RsRsMy government is fully competent to facilitate all help to such children but need of hour is also that the entire official machinery should realise this responsibility”, asserted Yadav while calling entire government machinery as well as public to join hands with him in facilitating help to orphans.
Chief Minister said that unless the future of such children is ensured, entire development plank of his government is of no use. He said that in many cases where they took children as Rsorphans’, the reality is that their parents dumped them at mercy of God for various reasons. He claimed that who so ever come forward to adopt such Rschild’, particularly those having no kids, his government would facilitate them all kind of help. He further said that his government would also try to use the official services of RsDial 100’, RsWomen Power line-1090’ etc to ensure that missing children could be re-united with their parents.
Calling the officials to improve the condition of existing Rsorphanage’ in the State, Akhilesh Yadav claimed that his government would ensure scholarship to the orphans. Besides, the children will be also facilitated training under RsSkill Development Plan’ of the government so that they can take any profession to make them self-reliant. Chief Minister also added that for such children Rsreservation’ could also play an important role in making them compete with other kids.
Former union defense minister and Samajwadi Party supremo, Mulayam Singh Yadav, while speaking on the occasion said that government should ensure free education, medicines, food and lodging and all necessary help to all those who turned Rsorphans’ for various reasons. He said that the book launched on the occasion would play a vital role in attracting the concern of every citizen to contribute for welfare of such children. Besides chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, cabinet minister Shivpal Singh Yadav, chief secretary Alok Ranjan, Minister for Political Pension Rajendra Chowdhary, principal secretary (Information) Navniet Sehgal and other senior officials were also present in the function.
