Zaan Khan all set to make his Bollywood debut

Being in the eyes of every writer, director and producer Bhopal city has also produced great artists who have built a golden fortune for themselves in the Bollywood industry. Now the fresh faces from the city are creating a niche for themselves in the world of B’town.

The young and talented boy next door, Zaan Khan is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the upcoming movie ‘Call For Fun’. The guy with chocolaty features is better known for his wonderful performances on television. Since his debut on tekevision with Channel V’s Jhalli Anjali in 2015, this young lad of Bhopal made headlines in the industry.

Since then, there was no turning back for Zaan. While in a candid conversation with The Pioneer, Zaan shared about how he got his first Bollywood break.

“It was magical and it is like a dream come true for me,” shared Zaan. As he talked about grabbing this opportunity he said, “I auditioned for this role and one day I got a call from the production house that I have been chosen for the lead character. Though I knew that it’s not a big start, but yet for me it was the beginning. So I said yes for the role.”

It is to be noted that this young heartthrob in no time made his fan following. Zaan was also seen in a lead role in Yeh Hai Ashiqui and in a pivotal role on Zee Tv’s Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani His performances have been appreciated every time. Talking about his experience in the movie he said, “It has been a fantabulous journey. Just like a roller coaster ride, I enjoyed every bit of working in this film. We shot at different locations and for me it was the magical experience.”

Call For Fun is an edgy, coming of age laughathon revolving around the escapades of a young boy (essayed by Zaan) who takes over the reins of his father's business and faces a vortex of misadventures - mafia threats to client losses. Directed by Janak Toprani , the movie also features Prasad Shikhare, Ashish Ghade, Charu Asopa and Shubhangi Mehrotra in major roles. The movie is releasing on October 6.

Zaan signed off saying, “I just want to make my parents proud and bring laurels to my State with my good work.”
