Executive PGDM
The IMI, New Delhi, invites admissions for its Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management (EXPGDM) course for 2019-20. The programme is approved by AICTE and accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA).
The programme is a 15-month long full-time course for middle-level managers who wish to take up leadership roles and upgrade their skills. It is available in two options —
Executive PGDM with International module: This option consists of 12 months of coursework over four trimesters of 11 to 12 weeks each, and three months of field research project at the end of the coursework. Of the 12 months, five weeks of coursework will be carried out at IMI’s partner Business School in Europe. The remaining classes will be on IMI’s campus in Delhi
Executive PGDM without International module: It consists of 12 months of coursework spread over four trimesters of 11 to 12 weeks each, and three months of field research project at the end of the coursework. The entire coursework will be held on IMI’s campus in Delhi.
Eligibility: All the participants must possess a bachelor’s degree (a minimum of three years education) or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Association of Indian Universities with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks. The candidate must also have a minimum of five years of full time, post-qualification, experience as on March 31, 2019. He/she should also have a proficiency in English.

Executive MBA
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, is calling for applications for an Executive MBA (EMBA) programme that will help middle and senior level professionals enhance their careers.
This two-year degree programme will be the second batch of EMBA and can be pursued along with a regular career, since classes will be held during mostly alternate weekends. With its pragmatic curriculum and students with diverse industry background and ranging work experiences, the EMBA program is the right platform for experiential learning the convenient way.
The highlights of this programme includes technical interface to Management Studies through cutting-edge courses such as social media and Internet marketing, cyber security and its applications, IT for digital economy, and technology strategy & foresight. It also includes experiential learning with three capstone work-based projects
Programme structure: The course is divided into eight quarters covered in four semesters. There are 30 courses which consist of 16 core courses and 14 electives. There will be three capstone projects which will start from the second semester (third quarter) and continue through the third and fourth semester.
Eligibility: The basic criteria to apply is 60 per cent and above in UG and a minimum of three years of work experience. The online portal will open by the first week of October 2018 to fill in the application form for EMBA entrance examination. The portal will close in 30 days.
Selection: The selected candidates will receive a call letter to attend the EMBA entrance exam and personal interview during mid-November 2018.
Important dates: The applications were open from September 30, 2018. The results of entrance test and interview will be declared in December 2018, and students will be requested to pay the initial fee to enrol for the programme. The batch orientation will take place in December last week.
The classes will commence from the first week of January 2019.
