NHPC pays Rs 211.63 crore as dividend

NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydro power company and a ‘Mini Ratna’ Category-I Enterprise of the Government of India has paid a final dividend of Rs 211.63 crore to Government of India for the financial year 2017-18. Shareholders of the company in its 42nd Annual General Meeting held on 27th September 2018, had approved final dividend at the rate of Rs 0.28/- per Equity share i.e. @2.8% of the face value. NHPC today has more than 7 lakh shareholders and total final dividend pay-out for the financial year 2017-18 worked out to Rs 287.26 crore.

USISPF hosts 1st India Leadership Summit

The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) hosted its First India Leadership Summit and first board delegation on Tuesday. The theme of this year’s Summit was “In Pursuit of Inclusive Prosperity”, showcasing the contributions of both countries to inclusive growth.

Vigilance Awareness Week  at AAI

Airports Authority of India is observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2018 from 29th October 2018 with theme "Eradicate Corruption-Build a New India" all across its airports and establishments. An event was organized on 29 th October, 2018 at AAI Corporate Headquarters, Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan which was inaugurated by Dr. Guruprasad Mohapatra Chairman, AAI in the august presence of Sh. R.S. Bhatti, Chief Vigilance Officer, AAI, Sh. S. Suresh, Member (Finance), Sh. A.K. Pathak, Member Planning and Sh. Vineet Gulati, Member (ANS). Integrity Pledge was administered by the Chairman to 500 officers and staff members on this occasion. “Vigilance starts at an individual level. If one decides to lead a life of integrity and honesty, then no external pressure can impact the way of functioning of the individual. Since every drop counts, if every individual for his /her bit, the organisation’s goal of ‘saying no to corruption’ would be met easily”, said, Dr. Gurprasad Mohapatra, Chairman, AAI in his opening address.

General Meeting of PNB shareholders held

Punjab National Bank today held its Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders at its head office Dwarka for obtaining shareholders approval to issue and allot 638190364 Equity shares to Government of India at face value of Rs 2/- each fully paid premium of Rs 83.10 per share amounting up-to Rs 5431 crore on preferential basis to Govt. of India.

IMI Precision expecting 2-fold jump in turnover

IMI Precision Engineering is expecting an over two-fold jump in its turnover in the next five years on the back of enhanced product and technical offerings as part of its business expansion plans. The international firm last week inaugurated its new 67,000 square foot facility at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, in which it has invested around Rs 50 crore. "We can double in three to five years time," said IMI Precision Engineering- India Managing Director Kuldeep Bhan. The company expects a longer growth in the Indian market as it is sensing opportunities driven by growth in automotive production, laying of new high speed rail and other big infrastructure projects.
