‘Avoid getting into any arguments’

For the first time, Bigg Boss has revealed its contestant much before its launch and the first jodi to go in the Bigg Boss House is Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa. Sangeeta Yadav chats up with them

All excited to be in the Bigg Boss House.

Bharti Singh (BS): We are excited but at the same time scared about the Weekend Ka Vaar with Salman as he pulls up contestants for doing wrong things. When I think about previous seasons, I wonder why contestants behave so aggressively. Every small  thing leads to bigger issues.

I don’t want to spoil my relations with anyone, especially my husband. Big Boss is very clever and he will keep us in opposite teams as opponents. The tasks are going to be unpleasant. Like last year, we saw Hina Khan throwing cold water on other’s face. If Haarsh will do something like this to me, I will be very angry.

What made you say yes to the show this time?

BS: Since it is jodi special, Haarsh and I are going to spend more time together in Bigg Boss House. This was all the reason for me to say yes. We have recently returned from Argentina after shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi (KKK) which will soon go on air. Earlier, I had decided that I will never do this show. People say that jinki bahar dukaan bandh ho jati hai ya koi kaam nahi hota woh Bigg Boss mei aate hai. But there is nothing like that in my case as I was hosting India’s Got Talent for four years and was looking for something interesting.

How was your experience in Khatron Ke Khiladi?

Haarsh Limbachiyaa (HL): It was once in a lifetime experience. It will be funny to see a man like me crying like a baby before doing the stunt. I never realised that I will be was scared of so many things like height and insects. In KKK, I have entertained people more than Bharti. But in Bigg Boss, Bharti will entertain people by her comedy timing.

What is that one thing would you avoid doing on the show?

BS: I will avoid getting into any arguments. But I will take a stand for the right and never tolerate any injustice.

Before stepping inside the Bigg Boss House, what work are you going to finish?

HL: We are going to shoot a chat show under our production house, H3 Productions, so that till the time we are away, the production team will get to work on its editing.

There were talks that you are going to be a part of Kapil Sharma’s upcoming show?

BS: We just spoke once but nothing is finalised. By the time I am out of Bigg Boss House, I wish to see Kapil bhai’s comedy show running so that I can join him immediately.
