Sahitya Kala Parishad is organising, Mayur Utsav 2018, a three-day long extravaganza evenings to create a cultural space that will help in reviving the lost sensitivity towards the Culture and heritage of India by the society. Artists like Suresh Vyas and Group (folk), and Kailash Kher are the performers to watch out for.

The three-day cultural celebration will mark the celebration of Urdu’s eclectic art forms and its heritage through ghazals, sufi music, qawwali, dastaangoi, panel discussions, poetry symposiums, recitations, celebrity conversations, film screenings and much more. Some of the remowned people who will be a part of this are Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Vishal Bhardwaj, Jaaved Jaaferi, Nooran sisters, The Wadalis, Annu Kapoor, Malini Awasthi, Wasim Barelvi, Kumar Vishwas, Aasif Sheikh (Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain fame), Shruti Pathak (Bollywood singer), Shamsur Rahman Faruqi, Gopi Chand Narang, and many others. 

The festival will also host a fete with a range of stalls selling books, Urdu theme merchandise with calligraphy, artefacts and other items. Audience will not only interact with the stars of the Urdu literary world but will also get an opportunity to share their poetry and stories in various open forums. The Food Festival Aiwan-e-Zaiqa will host a grand feast of cuisines for lovers of authentic awadhi, mughlai, hyderabadi, afghani, bihari, kashmiri and popular street food from Purani Dilli. Four parallel events will be held at four stages within the stadium complex named Mehfil-Khana, Bazm-e-Khayaal, Dayaar-e-Izhaar and Sukhan Zaar.

Avishkaar Makeathon

December brings the biggest celebration of science & robotics' where you can celebrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics and make innovation an area for the young minds of the developing world. At IRC League Season 9, where the concept of R-ME (Robots in Missions and Expeditions) is being promoted, one will witness Asia's biggest robotics competition. One can check out for latest innovations and can be inspired to explore  passion and idea. Along with getting a sneak-peek into the latest products by Avishkaar, the event will also host exciting and interactive workshops.

Over 15,000 participants contested in 17 qualifiers of IRC School League Season 9 across India — from Himachal Pradesh to Tamil Nadu. More than 350 teams submitted their innovations as part of the Avishkaar Makeathon 2018. In each round of both competitions, participants showed their grit and determination to book their seats in the nationals. The winning teams from both the competitions will receive a sponsored trip to Russia.

Delhi Food Truck Festival

The festival will see mouth watering and sumptuous cuisines from across the globe from food trucks & food brands like Lalit Food Truck, Keventers, Chicago Pizza, EMOI, Oh So stoned, , Mughal Nama, Shawrama House, Burnout, Bhook Box, Wow Momos, Flip on Wheels and Masca Bites. There will be live performances by  singers like Sunanda Sharma and Jash Manak.
