‘Pahuna’ converted into makeshift CM House

Chhattisgarh State Guest House at Shankar Nagar in Raipur, ‘Pahuna’ has been made makeshift Chief Minister’s residence for Chief Minister elect Bhupesh Baghel while the security has been beefed up in and around it on Sunday.

As per reports, at present Chief Minister’s residence based at Civil Lines has  not been vacated by the former Chief Minister Raman Singh, Chief Minister designate Bhupesh Baghel will be staying at ‘Pahuna’.

Authorities say that it would take a week or more to keep the Civil Lines-located CM House ready for Baghel as the sprawling house needs some minor renovation. 

CM designate Bhupesh Baghel after staking claim to form the Congress Government at Raj Bhawan, reached ‘Pahuna’ at Shankar Nagar on Sunday. Chief Minister Security officials had taken over the ‘Pahuna’ and provided the necessary security as per protocol.
