Thursday, 22 November 2018 | PNS | ANGUL

Dead bodies of two women were found at a poultry farm under mysterious circumstances at Chandanpur under the Bantala police station in the district on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Buduni Nayak (55) and Bimala Nayak (50) of Koida area in Sundargarh district. Sources said the two women were working at the poultry farm owned by one Arun Singh.

They consumed liquor on Tuesday night after having dinner, sources said.

The women didn’t get up in the morning when their colleagues tried to wake the duo up. After realising about their death, the other workers informed police.

Cops reached the spot, seized the bodies for post-mortem and initiated investigation.

Though the reason behind the deaths is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that the liquor they had consumed was poisonous.
