A 26-year-old man committed suicide by hanging from a tree at Triveni Complex under TT Nagar station area on Tuesday.
According to the police, the deceased Sumit Soni was found hanging in the morning by the owner of the house. Police were informed and based on the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
The deceased committed suicide late in the night. The deceased after returning from hospital committed suicide. He used to work with a sales and marketing firm.
The Investigating Officer Harinarayan Lodhi said that the deceased was diagnosed with kidney stone and was advised for operation for cure. The deceased shared the information with his land lord regarding his illness.
A suicide note was found but nothing regarding the reason was mentioned in it. The probable reason was fear and financial problem regarding the operation which the doctors advised, he added.
The deceased hailed from Tikamgarh. His family members were handed over the body in the afternoon for last rites.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of CrPC and have started further investigation. Reason of the suicide would be investigated.
Meanwhile a 50-year-old committed suicide by hanging at Pul Bogdha under Aishbagh police station area on Monday.
According to police, the deceased Suresh Kumar Sahu was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The deceased used to work at a garment store. The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
