Gunga police have nabbed a 50-year-old man after he molested an 8-year-old girl while she playing near her house, victim and her elder sister stone pelted accused to rescue victim; accused was arrested after parents lodged complaint with the police on Saturday.
Police have nabbed Dayaram Bheel who molested her on Friday while she was playing near her home.
The victim managed to escape and alerted her elder sister anf the two stone pelted the accused which forced her to leave the spot and later when her parents returned from work she reported the incident to her parents. The parents along with the victim lodged a complaint with the Gunga police.
The police have registered a case under section 354 of the IPC and sections of the POCSO act and arrested the accused. Police said that the investigation of involvement of the accused in the molestations with girls and women in the area would be conducted.
Meanwhile miscreant involved in molestation of 21-year-old girl at Indra Vihar Colony remains absconding who molested the victim on Saturday near her colony ; Koh-e-Fiza police station have registered case and started investigation.
The accused identified as Arun Meena was acquainted with the victim and used to study with her in school.
