84-year-old lady donates eyes to Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital

Eyes of 84-year-old late Shanti Devi Gandhi have been donated to Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital by her son Bharat Gandhi. It is learnt that resident of Kalpana Nagar, Bhopal late Shanti Devi Gandhi died on Wednesday November 14. With this donation two blind persons would now get eye-sight.

As many as 1,611 free cornea transplantations have so far been performed in Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital. Trustee LC Janiyani paid homage to the departed soul and expressed gratitude to the family members for this donation.
