With activities hotting up in Ayodhya over the issue of construction of Ram temple and leaders of Shiv Sena regularly visiting Karsewakpuram, Uttar Pradesh government spokesman and Health Minister Sidharth Nath Singh said that everyone was welcome in Ayodhya but before paying obeisance to Ram Lalla, they should understand the meaning of Ram rajya.
“We welcome leaders of all political hues in Ayodhya. This government has imposed no restriction on ‘darshan’ of Ram Lalla. But we expect leaders visiting Ayodhya to understand the ethics of Ram rajya and support the government in Maharashtra,” Singh said in an oblique reference to Sanjay Raut’s visit to Ayodhya.
This will be the third visit of senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, who is also the spokesman of the party. It is believed that Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray is also expected to visit Ayodhya soon.
“The law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh is very good. Whosoever tries to disturb communal peace will be severely dealt with. The leaders are welcome in UP but they should not give vitriolic statements,” Singh said here on Sunday.
Meanwhile, activities have intensified in Ayodhya over the proposed ‘dharma sansad’ to be held there on November 25.
Besides Ayodhya, similar ‘dharma sansads’ will be held in Bengaluru and Nagpur. It will be followed by a ‘dharma sabha’ in New Delhi on December 9.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s senior leader Champat Rai reviewed the preparation for the ‘dharma sansad’ in Ayodhya. Local Member of Parliament Lalloo Singh, Mayor Rishikesh Upadhaya and local legislator of the Bharatiya Janata Party held a meeting with VHP leaders. The ‘dharma sabha’ will be held at Panch Kosi Parikrama Marg from 12 noon on November 25.
On the other hand, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leaders held a meeting at Karsewakpuram. VHP spokesman Sharad Sharma said that RSS, VHP and BJP were working in tandem to make the ‘dharma sansad’ a success.
Over one lakh people were expected to attend this ‘dharma sansad’, he said.
