The election preparation and voter awareness programme in Indore district is in full swing and the Indore administration is coming up with new innovative ideas to guide and encourage all the section of the voters to vote.
In the meeting, held at collector office Indore chaired by Indore collector Nishant Warwade, in which all the officers of the different government department were present the head of sweep campaign of Indore and CEO Jila Panchayat Indore Neha Meena told that now the melodious jingle bells appealing the people to vote will sound from the speakers of the Indore municipal garbage vehicle which goes daily door to door for collection of garbage.
Besides, the banner and poster will be displayed on each garbage collection vehicle highlighting the importance of voting and other things which a voter should know regarding the election.
Neha Meena further told that a seal will be put on all the government papers used in transaction between public and Indore government administration of all departments highlighting the date of election and other details.
Wall painting regarding the details displaying the election and voter awareness information is done on the various busy squares and government buildings and in front of schools and colleges so that more and more people can get aware. The administration is also coming up with the selfie points at collector office, malls, petrol pumps and various busy places of Indore district where the people can talk selfie with the cut out of Chunav Singha, a symbol created for the voter awareness telling the people every vote is precious.
