Administration readies for Durga Puja festival

To ensure peaceful Durga Puja, Deputy Commissioner Harsh Mangala has deputed 203 magistrates all over the district.

All the magistrates and police officers have been instructed to remain on deputation till the immersion who have been made responsible for maintaining peace and control communal tension. From the point of view of vigil on law and order, he has instructed to take immediate action against those who spread rumors.

Those who spread rumors and incite communal feelings will be booked under section  505 of the IPC.  The Deputy Commissioner said that during the procession, the use of the new route can not be accepted under any circumstances. The Deputy Commissioner has instructed all SDOs to videography of procession and strict monitors on criminal and anti-social elements who joined in the procession.

To control traffic for  the proper parking of vehicles DC directed to arrange parking before the Garh Devi more, Ranka more and Manjhiaon more.
