Ajay accuses Chouhan of ‘RSS high-handedness’

Friday, 05 October 2018 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Ajay Singh accused Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for high-handedness of RSS in the higher technical institutions.

The allegations were made by Ajay Singh on the dismissal of Vice Chancellor of Raja Mansingh Tomar Music & Arts University, Gwalior Lovely Sharma who was dismissed opposing unconstitutional posting of people having connections with BJP and RSS. He demanded Governor to intervene and reinstate Lovely Sharma.

After Lovely Sharma was dismissed, Principal Secretary of Culture Manoj Shrivastava was given the charge of Vice Chancellor of Raja Mansingh Tomar Music & Arts University, Gwalior.

Ajay Singh alleged that Vice Chancellor before Lovely Sharma made posting in Raja Mansingh Tomar Music & Arts University, Gwalior in arbitrary and inappropriate manner and when Lovely Sharma was made Vice Chancellor pressure was build to accommodate those posting as permanent but when Lovely Sharma refused to succumb to the pressure she was dismissed without any reason.  The posting which were made were of Ranjana Jha, Yogendra Choubey, Sunil Paogi and Yogesh Firodia.

The government made all efforts to make these posting regular as these are connected with RSS and BJP or are relatives of senior office bearers and leaders.

He said that all schools and colleges for the past 15 years have been made extensions of RSS activities.

The universities have lost their dignity and opposition of these activities results into incidents like Ujjain, Mandsaur or dismissal like of Lovely Sharma case.

Madhya Pradesh Governor Anandi Ben Patel should put strict check to save education arena from getting corrupted, he demanded.
