All India Civil Services Football Competition held

The players of Madhya Pradesh exhibited an impressive performance at All India Civil Services Football Competition. The competition began here from Monday.

The competition is organized by Sports and Youth Welfare In the league matches played at the City Stadium ground, Madhya Pradesh defeated Telangana by 2-1 points. In this exciting encounter, the two teams were on zero with zero till the intermission. On behalf of Madhya Pradesh, Ram Singh and Abhinav Chavan won the team by winning each goal.

Here on Monday the competition was inaugurated today by the Director General of Police, Jail Sanjay Chaudhary, introduction to the players. He got acquainted with the players of Delhi and Gujarat teams and gave them best wishes. On this occasion, tournament ambassador Brijendra Kumar and match commissioner J.P. Singh was also present. Under the competition Haryana defeated Kerala with three goals from CS, CS Delhi defeated Gujarat 13-0. In this match, Delhi's eleventh player Kulbhushan made his debut and first hat-trick of the competition. On this ground, Tamilnadu defeated Uttar Pradesh by five goals against two and strengthened its position for the next match of the league.

One player of the Hyderabad team, Murtaza Hussain scored eleven goals in the matches played on the Lal Parade, while the team defeated Chandigarh State by 26-0 points, creating a stir in the football world and competition.

It is to be noted that in other matches Chandigarh beat Mumbai by 1-0 points, Chennai defeated Indore by 2-0 points, while Kochi defeated Uttar Pradesh by 6-1 points.
