Ankit Raaj to be now seen in 'Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai'

The energetic young guy in Ishqbaaz Samar Jeet Malhotra has already made a place in audiences’ heart. This young lad will now be seen in an entirely different shade as a sophisticated business tycoon.

Ankit Raaj, the young heartthrob of Indian television industry will be seen playing a pivotal role in upcoming television series ‘Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai’.

Ankit Raaj, Indian television actor and model hails from Jabalpur. His career started as a model. Raaj has made his footprints in the fashion world by walking for leading designers such as Manish Malhotra, Rohit Bal, Troy Costa, Wendell Rodricks, Karan Johar, Varun Bahl, and Tarun Tahiliani.

Raaj was felicitated at the Asia Model Festival 2015 for his contribution to the modelling industry. In 2015, Raj made his debut to Indian television with Zee TV's Qubool Hai as Amaad Iqbaal Khan. In 2017, he appeared in the cameo role of Samar in Star Plus's series Ishqbaaaz alongside Additi Gupta.

While talking about his journey in television industry, Ankit said, “In my initial days, I used to follow John Abraham and always aspired to be a model. But during my modeling days, I started to receive offers for the movies and serials.”

It is to be noted that Ankit made his Bollywood debut with the movie ‘Karle Pyar Karle’. Now he will be seen in a totally new avatar in Yeh Pyar Nahin Toh Kya HaiIJ a serial from the makers of Ek Duje Ke Vaaste.  He will be playing a prominent character of Kartik Reddy the twin brother of Palak who is the main lead in the show essayed by Anushka Reddy.

His character Kartik is a man of a very high temper.  He is known for his strong language, and a harsh tone among the people of the same business, and was famous for standing up for his family rights, he would cross all limits if anyone even dared to put an evil eye on his father.

Talking about the serial’s USP, Ankit said, “The content is the USP of the show. I am sure that audience will surely like this entirely differently crafted script.”

He signed off saying, "I would just like to tell the aspiring actors to be focused on your aimbition."
